拼字測驗的編製

摘要

向國小三年級學生(34名)及五年級 學生 (38名)是現 30個組成字的單位,令受試者在 18 分鐘內,將兩個或雨個以上的單位拼成有意義的字。從受試者拼出來的解答字特徵以及在受测時間過程拼出來的字數加以推測,受試者開始時,比較依賴外在因素,以視覺掃描的方式組合客單位,若符合內在的字模型,則做為解答字。然後才逐漸從較小線索或較不明顯的線索產生內在的字模型,與外在的單位組合核對、比較,而產生解答字。在第二次施測時,受試者還可以依賴記憶的因素,受其引導,而在测驗開始的三、四分鐘內,產生較多的解答字。就本測驗的信度而言,雖然約爲.60-.70,但由所得結果來看,較大年齡的受試者,應可以獲得較高信度。就本測驗的效度而言,與测量「產生內在假設、與外在刺激核對」的詞鏈測驗求相關,獲得顯著的相關。


Constructing a Word-construction Test

Abstract

Third and fifth graders were presented with a set of 30 word fragments, and instructed to construct words by combining two or more fragments. The words constructed by these children were analyzed by word characteristics (numbers of fragments used in constructing words, frequency counts of constructed words) and output intervals. From the obtained results, it can be inferred that children depended first mainly on the external fragments to generate words in order to compare and check them with the internal word models, and then on the internally generated word models based on the partial cues of word fragments. This view is consistent with the results obtained from the second administration of the test (for a reliability measure) and also with its being correlated with a word-chain test used for a test validation.
