The jnds were obtained by the three-category constant method along the dimension of varying magnitudes of angles. The standard stimuli consisted of the angles of 5°, 10°, 15°, 30°, 60°, and 120°, formed by two lines of equal length of 4 cm. It was found that the Weber fraction decreases rapidly at first and then remains fairly constant over the rest of the stimulus dimension. The results are similar to those obtained in simple sense modalities.
