摘要：

72個4歲到12歲歲的香港中國男女學童，144個國小一年級到六年級的臺灣中國男女學童分別用孟氏合作板測驗他們在競爭與合作獎賞結構下的合作與競爭行為。結果發現表現較多的合作反應，到11～12歲，這種性別差異更為顯著。由於中國學童隨著年齡的增加，愈傾向於合作，獎賞結構雖然由全體給獎方式變成個人給獎方式，學童的合作反應並沒有顯著的改變。

Competitive and Cooperative Behavior of Chinese Children in Taiwan and HongKong

Abstract

This study included two experiments which were carried out seperately in Taiwan and Hong-kong. Seventy-two Chinese children at Hongkong aged from 4 to 12 years old and 144 Chinese children of an elementary school in Taiwan served as the [subjects. Each group of four subjects
played Madsen Cooperative Board under either competitive reward structure or cooperative reward structure. The results from the two test areas were similar: The older the children were the more cooperative they would be. The subjects kept countained to cooperate even the reward method changed from the cooperative structure to the competitive structure. This result was not consistent to what was shown in a similar American study. In both Taiwan and Hongkong, male subjects tended to be more cooperative than female subjects.
